Like all research endeavours, funding is essential for progress! We are therefore grateful for the contributions received over the years from numerous sources. These awards have demonstrated the excellence and promise of the research we perform and have been instrumental in our progress so far!

Additionally to our position within the University of Vienna Group, the Walther group is also part of research platforms, local research networks and young researcher funding programs.

As a result of the research conducted in the Walther Group, two spin-offs were founded in close cooperation with the University of Vienna. Vitrea Lab and Qubo are working on adapting fundamental research into applicable prodcuts.
